210 Horsepower 'Hawk XP Installation Checklist

This sheet may be used to obtain a quotation for installation by your local FBO:

Work Description:

  1. Remove cowling and spinner dome.
  2. Remove, have propeller governor shop overhaul/reset and re-install governor or replace governor with new or overhauled unit (requires removal of left front engine baffle).
  3. Change fuel (high) pressure adjustment screw by (1) turn (not always required).
  4. Remove and replace tachometer.  (Optional: remove mechanical tachometer and cable. Replace with digital tachometer with wire harness from tachometer to magneto switch, add one circuit breaker and install cap on tachometer drive housing.)
  5. Remove and replace Manifold Pressure/Fuel Flow gauge.
  6. Install self-adhesive fuel flow placard.
  7. Rework propeller. Note: This rework consists of changing the low pitch stop setting. This may be accomplished on or off the airplane depending upon the equipment available in your propeller shop.
  8. Install spinner dome and static run engine.
  9. Remark engine data plate to indicate the new RPM and rated horsepower.
  10. Install cowling.
  11. Complete log book entries and 337 forms.
  12. Return exchange components (tachometer, Manifold Pressure/Fuel Flow gauge and/or governor).
